Time flies!

I swear Paxson grows an inch every day. It's crazy to think he is already almost 6 months! In the past couple of weeks he has...

visited cousin Cameron...

discovered his toes...

learned to sit up on his own (for a couple seconds)...

grabs anything he can get his hands on (then proceeds to eat or drink it)...

started eating rice cereal...

got ready for winter...

met his new best friend Lane Nicholas Elder!

and has just been so fun to watch grow...

Me or David??

Some people say Paxson looks just like David, some say he looks just like me...I like to think he is a perfect blend of both =) What do you think???

Halloween!

Better late than never right?!

Paxson experienced his first Halloween! He helped us stay home and pass out candy to our 4 trick-or-treaters!

He was the cutest little glow-in-the-dark skeleton during the day...

And then changed into a pumpkin at night...

Project completed!

Ok so it is way past my bedtime but Steph reminded me that I needed to get these pictures up so here I am at 9:40pm just for you Stephanie!

It really hasn't taken us a month to finish this great project. David's wonderful sister came and helped us the next day so thanks to Christen we were able to get it all done in one day!

Christen actually admitted it was fun pulling up the million staples in the floor.....she probably took that back after getting a blister =(

I recruited my dad to come hang up all of my decor! Thank you dad =) And of course he and mom counted...they drilled 24 holes in our wall!

Grandma hung out with Paxson...

And here is our new and improved living room =)

Paxson seems to be enjoying it...

Project...

I've always been the type of person who loves to think of projects. I'll get this great picture in my head of how I want everything to look and how it's going to be so much fun and easy. Then every single time, once I start my "great" project, I quickly realize how difficult it's going to be and start wishing I had never began. Kind of like when you start to clean your house, but then as you're putting something in a drawer you start to clean out the drawer and then make an even bigger mess than what you started with.

So tonight was one of those nights. I've been wanting to rip up the carpet in our living room for awhile now, but David kept trying to persuade me it wasn't as easy as I thought. I finally talked him into letting me, so tonight I tried to conquer this task. I got about 10 minutes into it before I realized it wasn't easy and it sure wasn't fun. My dining room is now full of all our living room furniture and Paxson was scared to death of the shop vac. Christen is coming tomorrow to help me, so hopefully that will make this project better (hopefully she doesn't see this picture before then or she might change her mind!).

gross...

On another note, Paxson found his little thumb! And he is rolling over from his back to his tummy. He also slobbers like crazy and his poop is really starting to stink. Oh and he loves airplane time.

He will put anything and everything in his mouth.

I Love this picture..

He thinks he's big enough to sit up.

Pictures!

I can't believe how big my little boy is getting. He'll be 3 months on Sunday! Everyone says it goes by fast but you don't really understand until you're experiencing the real thing! David and I are enjoying every minute. Here are some updated pictures....finally!!!!

His 2 month shots =( He did really good. I held his hands and I think it hurt me more than it hurt him.

Our before church photos. We have to always find a way to walk in just a little late.

He loves tummy time....usually.

Wearing his shoes his Daddy picked out..

Sorry this picture is a little x-rated. Pax loves his bathtime! He probably just sits and wonders where his parents came from as I continually sing "srub a-dub-dub three men in a tub" and David catches his pee in a cup.

It seems as though Pax already has his daddy's legs. He may have been born the smallest, but I believe one day he will be large and in charge compared to Cam and Evan! =)

Rolling over...

Paxson is getting SO big! He loves to tell us about his dreams when he wakes up =) He just talks and talks and has the cutest smile in the world. He's perfect. Oh and he officially rolls over every time we put him on his belly...

Hopefully I"ll get some more pictures up tomorrow!

Paxson's First Cubs Game!

Paxson and I got David tickets to the Cubs/Cards game for his birthday. We drove up the night before to stay with Michelle. Brad and Christen decided to drive up and try to scalp tickets. Somehow they ended up getting seats about 15 rows in front of us! Then the people behind them never showed up so we all got to sit together. To make it even better the Cubs won!

On the metra that we were just barely on time for! (imagine that)

the standard Wrigley Field photo..Paxson is hiding in his sling

Cameron was such a nice cousin..he gave Paxson his hat the he also wore to his first Cubs game

Paxson stayed awake for almost the whole game and he was such a good baby!

But I think he was worn out after the extra innings...
